Attractive and rare map of the continent of Asia.

Cartographic curiosity in that this map is the exact geographic copy of the 1722 Wells map map except different cartouche, and some added info ..re a scale of english miles ..according to norwoods computa !

Presumably engraved by the Oxford engravers M. Burghers, R. Spofforth, Benjamin Cole and Sutton Nichols. Folio maps of Asia in English are relatively rare from this period.
