Rare and beautifully engraved map of Paris engraved by Donato Bertelli after P. Forlani's 1567 plan. With Forlani & Camocio Donato Bertelli was one of the most famous Venetian Cartographers / Map Engravers. This map is a fine copper engraving giving great and precise detail.

Orientated East West as are most maps of Paris of this period.

The arms of France are at top left and the the arms of Paris top right. A 43 point legend is below map as are the initials D.B. for Donato Bertelli. Also information that the map was printed 'In Venetia alla libraria del sergno del S.Marco in marzaria'.

Uncoloured as issued

Very good condition.
